Cathy Lebowitz
Cathy Lebowitz (b. Philadelphia, PA, lives and works in New York, NY) makes drawings and constructions, and conducts botanical experiments. She was an editor at Art in America magazine for thirty years, where she contributed articles on the subjects of socially engaged and environmental art as well as monographic pieces on Jenny Holzer, John Latham, and Maya Lin, among others. With Walter Robinson and Paul H-O, she hosted the public access TV show Gallery Beat in the 1990s.
